It's UL Class A fire rated and rated for winds up to 60 mph, with built-in algae resistance. It carries a 25-year limited transferable warranty, a 10-year algae-resistance warranty, 5-year SureStart™ protection, and a 5-year 60 mph wind-resistance warranty.

Full replacement cost coverage (materials and labor) for manufacturing defects during the first 5 years after installation, before any prorated reduction applies.
Covers cleaning or replacement if algae-resistant (AR) shingles develop blue-green algae staining, for up to 25 years when CertainTeed AR-designated hip and ridge accessories are installed. Coverage is limited to 10 years if those accessories aren't used.
Shingles are warranted against wind blow-off, including gusts, up to 60 mph (90 mph in Alaska) for the first 5 years. This product line isn't eligible for the higher wind-speed upgrade or the longer coverage window available on other CertainTeed shingles.
